Working in collaboration with the Vice-President of Technology, the IT Director drives project execution and ensures team performance. They oversee development activities, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and strategically manage three key technology areas: IT infrastructure, internal development, and automation. Driven by innovation and results, they ensure that every technological initiative supports the company's growth and efficiency objectives.
Tasks
IT Infrastructure:
Modernize and secure IT infrastructure (servers, network, cloud).
Optimize collaborative tools and ensure cybersecurity.
Internal Development:
Lead the evolution of ERP and internal applications.
Automate business processes and manage the software team.
Automation Development:
Develop and optimize controllers and HMI interfaces.
Integrate IoT and industrial intelligence solutions.
Oversee automation projects and their technological evolution.
Project Management:
Ensure seamless integration of technologies, monitor technological trends, and evaluate new solutions.
Adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Train and develop teams while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in managing complex technological projects, preferably in the industry.
Expertise in IT infrastructure, embedded systems, software development, and automation.
Knowledge of emerging technologies: IoT, AI, Industry 4.0.
Strong project and team management skills, focused on digital transformation.
Ability to develop and execute long-term technological strategies.
Proficiency in project management tools, ERP, and collaborative tools.
Knowledge of industrial safety and quality standards.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency to communicate with English-speaking clients in Canada and within the internal environment.
