Tasks

  • Develop schedules and oversee production operations.
  • Manage personnel and develop their skills.
  • Supervise production and logistics teams, ensuring communication.
  • Organize meetings to set daily objectives.
  • Collaborate with logistics to manage inventory.
  • Supervise the training of new employees and assess training needs.
  • Work with the plant engineer to improve productivity.
  • Lead the OHS Committee and promote a safety culture.
  • Perform any other tasks necessary for the department's smooth operation.

Job requirements

  • Relevant education in operations management, chemical engineering, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising a production team.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in implementing and managing production processes.
  • Good knowledge of ISO and SQF processes and standards.
