Our client, a long-standing company in the agricultural products and services sector, is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Agent for its head office located in Baie-du-Febvre. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with internal and external clients, negotiating with suppliers, and tracking product movements to ensure smooth operations.
Tasks
Communicate with internal and external clients.
Manage orders.
Monitor transportation and product movements.
Ensure product availability by analyzing and optimizing transportation and logistics operations.
Communicate with suppliers in collaboration with internal teams (sales, purchasing, transportation & logistics).
Manage purchase and sales contracts.
Verify the accuracy of information and ensure billing follow-up.
Apply corrections to documentation when necessary.
Ensure inventory accuracy according to recorded data.
Prepare reports and ensure data entry.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
High school diploma (mandatory).
DEP or DEC in transportation and logistics or procurement (strongly preferred).
Knowledge of the agricultural sector (asset).
Bilingual (asset).
Strong knowledge of operations optimization.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position related to transportation and logistics.
Excellent knowledge of Quebec geography.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel (intermediate-advanced).
