Our client, a renowned Quebec-based conglomerate with over 150 years of history, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor - Talent Acquisition for their Quebec City location. In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention, directly contributing to the company’s strategic goals.

Tasks

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies while staying informed about trends in the maritime sector.
  • Represent the company’s image and values to candidates in an exemplary manner, ensuring positive and constructive interactions.
  • Ensure an efficient, thorough, and seamless recruitment process.
  • Organize and prioritize recruitment files for all shore-based positions within the company.
  • Provide professional support as needed and contribute to salary surveys, pay equity programs, as well as talent training and development.
  • Perform other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
  • Bilingual in both spoken and written English and French.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software.
  • Member of CRIA or CRHA (an asset).
