Tasks
Review and interpret plans and specifications, then assess project costs.
Study and analyze received bids, recommend acceptance or rejection, and negotiate prices and contracts with various partners.
Ensure all necessary information for each construction project is collected and followed up internally.
Communicate with clients and various stakeholders to keep them informed of cost changes and adjustments.
Provide advice on the procedures to follow for submissions.
Establish and maintain submission, control, and reporting systems and procedures.
Prepare and update lists of suppliers, subcontractors, and other industry professionals.

Job requirements
Required education: AEC in building estimation or construction, DEC in construction or architecture, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software.
Detailed knowledge of the standards and codes of the Régie du bâtiment du Québec.
Professional experience in industrial and commercial sectors.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Knowledge of the Estimator General software (asset).
Experience in the agri-food sector (asset).
Knowledge of SketchUp software (asset).
