We are looking for a passionate Senior Architectural Technologist, ready to leave their mark on breathtaking corporate, commercial, and multi-residential spaces. In this role, you will be the key craftsman behind modern and timeless designs, tailored to reflect the personality of clients while meeting the industry's highest standards.

Tasks

  • Shape the Future: design preliminary sketches and finalized plans using AutoCAD and Revit while managing site surveys and overseeing all technical aspects of the project.
  • Ensure Project Integrity: thoroughly analyze plans and specifications to ensure compliance with standards and conduct rigorous quality control.
  • Flawless Coordination: align plans with various stakeholders (architects, engineers, subcontractors) and coordinate technical planning with a focus on challenges, budgets, and timelines.
  • Oversee Excellence On-Site: conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and finishes, and address unforeseen challenges with ingenuity.
  • Be the Voice of the Project: maintain transparent communication with clients, keep them informed at every stage, and adjust proposals to meet their expectations.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • Recognized Education: diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Architectural Technology.
  • Solid Experience: at least 10 years of relevant experience in architecture and interior design.
  • Diverse Expertise: proven experience in delivering multi-residential, corporate, commercial, and institutional projects.
  • Required Mobility: a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for efficient client site visits.
  • Language Proficiency: excellent command of both French and English, both written and spoken, due to interactions with American suppliers and English-speaking Canadian clients.
  • Technical Knowledge: strong understanding of the Quebec Building Code and applicable standards.
  • Professional Tools: proficiency in essential software, including MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe (Photoshop and Illustrator are must-haves).
  • Construction Know-How: in-depth knowledge of construction and cabinetry techniques.
  • Additional Skill: familiarity with MS Project (an asset).
