The role will involve ensuring that production operations meet product and process quality standards, while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. He/she will play a key role in continuous improvement and maintaining the company’s high standards.

Tasks
Perform quality analyses on food products.
Collect samples of finished products as needed.
Control and validate raw materials.
Record and archive results according to procedures.
Conduct Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) inspections in production.
Perform environmental sampling at regular intervals.
Monitor non-conformities, manage discrepancies, and quarantine affected products.
Train new employees during their onboarding.
Conduct pre-operational inspections.
Verify Critical Control Points (CCP).
Conduct sensory tests on ingredients, intermediate products, and finished goods.
Perform other related tasks.

Job requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in quality control in the food or pharmaceutical industries.
Availability to work weekends.
A college diploma (DEC) in food sciences or a related field is an asset.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Advanced proficiency in English (for writing documents in English and conducting daily exchanges 50% of the time).
