Our client is looking for a visionary Head of Purchasing and Procurement who can negotiate with top partners and ensure strategic procurement. Tasks

  • Develop and implement an effective procurement strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Oversee the entire procurement cycle: identifying needs, placing orders, and receiving deliveries.
  • Search for new procurement and supplier opportunities, while offering innovative solutions to optimize purchases.
  • Negotiate and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and performance.
  • Manage orders and track delivery deadlines to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Analyze purchasing needs and plan procurement to ensure the availability of necessary resources for the company’s smooth operation.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingualism is essential (French and English, spoken and written), enabling effective collaboration in an international context 40% of the time.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel for creating reports and high-quality analyses.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems is crucial for optimal management of procurement flows.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP.
