Tasks
Welcome and onboard new employees to promote their adaptation and engagement.
Maintain an active presence on the floor during breaks and meals to provide coaching, answer questions, and support employees in real-time.
Manage administrative tasks related to staff, including absences, tardiness, vacations, and leave, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Supervise, organize, and track daily tasks while evaluating employee performance and providing ongoing coaching to optimize productivity.
Train employees in forklift operation, computer systems, and safety procedures, in accordance with established standards.
Manage workplace accident records, document them, and forward them efficiently to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) department.
Collaborate with internal departments (operations, management, HR) to ensure optimal coordination and smooth processes.
Analyze employee performance to identify development opportunities and implement improvement plans.
Plan and organize human and material resources to meet operational requirements and client expectations.
Maintain regular communication with management, reporting activities, results, and actively contributing to the achievement of warehouse objectives.
Perform any other related tasks to support the team and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse.

Job requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in team supervision or management, ideally in a warehouse, logistics, or operational environment.
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to personnel management (e.g., tardiness, absences, occupational health and safety leave).
Proficiency in both French and English on a daily basis, in order to effectively communicate with warehouse staff 50% of the time.
Valid driver’s license required for the position.
Ability to train employees in the use of equipment such as forklifts (an asset).
