Our client, a company in the food sector located in Longueuil with over 18 years of experience in the Quebec market, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Manager will work closely with team leaders and the quality department to achieve the objectives set by management while ensuring customer satisfaction and strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
Tasks
Overseeing the three key areas of production: Human resources, health and safety at work, and continuous improvement.
Maintaining production pace by involving all factory stakeholders and supervising between 3 and 4 team leaders.
Establishing, applying, and ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, as well as health and safety at work.
Resolving operational issues and production obstacles in collaboration with the relevant resources.
Performing all other related tasks.

Job requirements
Education or experience in food sciences, engineering, food technology, or any relevant field.
A minimum of six (6) years of experience in production, operations, or manufacturing in the food industry.
Experience with BRC and HACCP standards.
