Tasks
Accounting and Administrative Management
Organize all accounting and administrative activities of the company.
Supervise the finance and accounting department, which includes 6 employees.
Measure and evaluate the company's accounting performance and activities.
Financial Reporting and Follow-up
Produce monthly account books and conduct regular analyses.
Prepare monthly internal financial reports and provide monthly and occasional bank statements for financial partners.
Verify quarterly reports, registers, and periodic entries.
Cash Management and Financial Risks
Assess operational and financial risks and implement risk management strategies in all currencies.
Manage financial tools such as foreign exchange contracts and letters of credit.
Review and maximize working capital management according to liquidity needs.
Control and Verification
Control and perform auxiliary consolidation of account closures.
Post entries and balance the general ledger and auxiliary consolidation.
Oversee GST/QST management and the credit verification process.
Ensure that records are continuously updated for an audit-like end-of-year verification, performed monthly to optimize rapid decision-making.
Tools and KPIs
Develop and optimize measurement tools, KPIs, and provide information for decision-making.
Manage the operational planning process (budget and forecasts).
Miscellaneous Tasks
Perform any other essential task to efficiently maintain the accounting department.

Job requirements
University degree in accounting (CPA designation is an asset).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment.
Experience in team management, with the ability to coach and positively engage the team.
Proficiency in financial statements and debit-credit accounting, skills that will be evaluated during the hiring process.
Bilingual in spoken and written communication (an asset).
Knowledge of cost accounting and multi-currency management (an asset).
Be available and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet the demands of the position.
