Day shift, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
Leader in the real estate sector in Quebec for several years, our client and their group of companies, headquartered in Laval, is looking for an Accounting Clerk. This position will complement the accounting department, which consists of six people. This is an opportunity for you to join a qualified and dynamic team!

Tasks

  • Perform the full accounting cycle and bank reconciliation.
  • Manage payroll, leave, DAS declarations, T4, T4A forms, Relevé 1, and employment records.
  • Administer and adjust, if necessary, employee group insurance & terminations.
  • Prepare GST & QST reports.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Manage broker billing and client accounts.
  • Collaborate on preparing year-end files.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • Experience in real estate brokerage (Required).
  • At least three years of experience as an accounting technician (essential).
  • DEC in Accounting (essential).
  • Good knowledge of Excel (at least intermediate level).
  • Proficiency in both French and intermediate English to easily respond to both English-speaking and French-speaking clients 40% of the time.
  • Knowledge of Accpac – Sage 300 (an asset).
