Our partner is a trucking company based in Montreal East for over 40 years and is currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team of approximately 50 people. As a mechanic, your main responsibility will be to repair various mechanical components of vehicles, including hydraulics, electrical systems, turbos, and more vehicles.
Our client, affiliated with the SAAQ, stands out in the field of commercial vehicle distribution across Canada. Their mission is simple: to ensure that goods reach their destination by ensuring that vehicle are in good condition.
Tasks
Performing repairs, adjustments, and fixes on mechanical components.
Checking vehicle maintenance.
Conducting oil changes for vehicle.
Performing various tests and diagnostics.
Participating in any other related tasks for the smooth running of operations.

Job requirements
DEP in automotive or heavy vehicle mechanics.
Minimum 1 year of experience in diesel mechanics.
Proficiency in either one of the official languages, French or English.
Ability to handle various mechanical components (hydraulics, brakes, electrical systems, oil, turbo).
Class 3 driver's license (an asset).
Ability to tolerate dirt, unpleasant smells, and varying temperatures.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
