Our client, a leading global manufacturer of rubber products which was founded in Canada since 1984 has opened a warehouse on the south side of Edmonton to handle their tire business. Their ultimate purpose is to supply tires that can adequately master Canadian roads, and ultimately provide intelligent performance in a top-quality tire. We are seeking a full-time Standup Counterbalance forklift operator to join the team. This position starts out a contract position and can lead to permanent full-time. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Standup Counterbalance Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving and shipping, stock transfer between BIN locations, and inventory count.
Les tâches
Operating a Forklift.
Loading purchases to customer vehicles.
Unload products from suppliers and stack on metal cages (hand bombing).
Maintain a clean work area.
Actively model positive culture, teamwork and collaboration.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations as per company policy.
Carry out any other related duties.

Exigences du poste
Be able to lift at least 70lbs, repetitively.
Standing for extended periods of time.
Valid Forklift License.
At least 1 year of experience with Stand-Up counterbalanced forklifts.
Experience using “Clamps” is considered an asset.
Must have access to a vehicle - no public buses available.
